On the 1st April 2023, Thomas Bates (Batesy) was taken from this world way too young and at an important point in his life with a young family and his developing Eminem tribute show. After a month long search he was found in the River Severn, presumed drowned.
Our sincere condolences to his family. His girlfriend Danielle Parkes is expecting a baby boy any day now (late March 2023).
I never had the pleasure of meeting nor seeing him perform, but I spoke to him a few times to organise gigs for him, and he was so appreciative and positive.
His dedication to being the best Eminem tribute was outstanding.
