Guy Surtees is a versatile musician with a particular love of Country music. Guy has been a singer and musician since 1980 and plays guitar, bass, keyboards and drums, and is learning to play banjo, fiddle and slide guitar.

With time on his hands and looking for a new challenge, Guy decided to use his thirty years of performing covers (whilst writing songs that never saw the light of day) to finally become an artist in his own right. His influences include Dwight Yoakam, Lady A, Little Big Town, Chris Stapleton, Brett Young and Sean McConnell.

Guy's debut 4 track EP CD ‘English Country Boy’ was released on the 7th March 2023 and its headline song went straight to No.1 in the iTunes Country chart ! The second single release ‘Thanking God I’m Alive’ went to No.3.

Available to book across the Midlands self-contained with professional PA and stage lights.
