Matt Hoy
Matt Hoy is a former vocalist for "Ali Campbell's UB40", a breakaway group of one of Birmingham's most famous Reggae bands.
Matt Hoy is available to book as a solo vocalist performing mixed Reggae, Soul and Pop, some of his own originals and some UB40 classics.
The original UB40 started out in 1978 with big hits such as Red Red Wine and Can't Help Falling in Love. Founding member and lead singer of UB40 Ali Campbell left in 2008 and in 2010 Matt Hoy joined him in the new band "Ali Campbell's UB40". In addition, Astro, a long time member of UB40 joined the pair in 2014. Matt Hoy left "Ali Campbell's UB40" in 2021.
