West Midlands based singer/songwriter Nick James brings you his Ne-Yo tribute show "Closer to Ne-Yo". Ne-Yo was considered a leading recording artiste in the 2000s R&B music scene, and the recipient of numerous accolades, including three Grammy Awards. Ne-Yo had five number one singles on the UK Singles Chart, spent 315 weeks within the chart's Top 75, and four songs listed on Motown's Top 100 songs of the Millennium in the UK.
Nick has an eclectic original-Motown vocal sound that embraces a wide variety of music genres including Soul, Motown, Blues, Jazz, RnB and Modern Pop. Nick has performed at many events including The Leicester Caribbean Carnival, Northampton Carnival, Help For Heroes along with numerous wedding functions, clubs and other private parties.
Nick James was previously signed to Urban Diamonds Music Group, which brought him a wide fan base. He has been commended by his fans for his versatile sound, high energy live performances, and commitment to recording quality music that inspires and excites.
