Taylor Swift tribute and original recording artiste Sammy J has been performing since the age of 11. In 2002 she entered and won a talent competition hosted by the BBC, winning a trip to New York and in 2003 she entered and won a competition for a London shopping Centre.

In 2003 she recorded her first demo CD in Maida Vale Studio’s, London, covering songs such as Kylie Minogue’s ‘Can’t Get You Out of my Head’. Sammy auditioned again for the ‘Stars in Their Eyes’ production company (2005) and went on to tour Butlin’s as ‘Kylie’ throughout the UK. Sammy has toured the UK and abroad (and continues to do so) with her various tribute acts to: Kylie Minogue, Taylor Swift, Shania Twain and Katy Perry.

Growing up she was inspired by Mariah Carey, Toni Braxton, Eternal all the pop divas from the 1990’s by the late 90’s she discovered country music which was filtering through from the States, she found her passion for that style of music.
